Luni in Mannheim

I had an appointment with a friend for breakfast today, breakfast turned into a relaxed stay of about 5 hours. We felt so comfortable, the music, the atmosphere, the decoration, the light and of course the food and the service were extremely pleasant. I keep my fingers crossed for the next terrible weeks. I would love to come back

Cool atmosphere, very nice staff, good price / performance ratio and the breakfast is just a dream. Very tasty and generous portions and not the disdainful uniformity that you unfortunately often get served as breakfast elsewhere. Gladly again!

It would have been nice to know the menu in advance ... Inside much too cold although the back table was, had to speak to the waitress after half an hour so that they could take our drinks / food ... after 10 minutes we were asked again what we wanted ... to drink came after 20 minutes so the previous wait a total of 50 minutes, the food again after 1 hour 10 minutes - vegan lasagna with salad was delicious but unfortunately very bad because of the long wait and the cold - unfortunately extreme volume also bothered ...

Very stylish restaurant in the heart of the Schwetzingen suburb. I can especially recommend the breakfast and the coffee. The facility is great!

Friendly restaurant, very good food and nice, simple menu selection. Service was a bit of a long time coming. The service was very friendly.

- Unfortunately, corona rules are not observed - There were no towels available on the toilet - Price / performance ratio for food not justified. All dishes are served in a very limited size. Spending more than € 15 on average for this is unjustified !!! - Drinks (prices) are basically justified, only the prices for long drinks (gin and tonic) differ from the menu card and invoice!

Yes, great food and really nice atmosphere. The decor is also fantastic - the copper piping taps over the bathroom sinks is interesting, too.

At 1 pm in the afternoon they were already run out of main dishes. Food was bland and watery. We were expecting drinks for 20 minutes and food for another 30 minutes. I hope it was just a bad day for them.

Great food and lovingly created dishes. The cook really goes out of his way to make the vegetarian offers very special and you can taste it! The creations are modern and just the right amount of classic & experimental at the same time.

The food is delicious, although the portions are actually small, especially for the prices. I also find the ambience very nice. Service is friendly, but inattentive and slow. If in doubt, you should probably ask every few minutes whether something was forgotten. A pity...

Such an amazing concept. The food and drink is amazing, but also the ambience and environment is what makes it so unique. Very friendly staff and beautiful building. I really like the idea of the community repair space inside. My favourite spot in Mannheim for sure.

This is the second time I go and I can honestly say: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Besides the fact that you don't get much for the money you pay, the service is very very slow and not so good. The first time I went it took around 45 minutes for a miserable toast with a poached egg on it to arrive at the table. The second time I ordered something small and the same happened. I admit the place is very aesthetic and chique but anything else was not worth my money.

Finally I came to visit the shop Luni! Unfortunately the internet presence is not available and therefore it is difficult to find your way around. What I found out: the opening hours are from 9-22 clock, the interior is jumbled but only the best and there are drinks and food! Enclosed also pictures of the map and one of the location. The cappuccino was delicious and the biscuit was great! On request, they also bring you drinks that are not on the menu, such as milk with honey (see pictures). The service is super nice and very accommodating. We had a business meeting with four and had free seat choice when we got there around 11 o'clock on a Thursday. I would like to come back and try the food! Is recommended! Also my second visit there in August 2019 was great there. Ice coffee was served sweet, but did I feel like the cappuccino got smaller? 🤔 Next time I try the food there!

Super nice restaurant in the Schwetzingerstadt. The ambience is very modern but cozy and the menu offers a handful of carefully selected drinks and dishes. It is even possible to have a late breakfast as the card is valid until 5pm. Lunch dishes are available from 12 o'clock. The prices for this are located in the middle to upper price segment. Theoretically you could bring your own bottle of wine at extra cost, but this is not necessary due to the selection. The wines are very good. The service is very friendly and works fast, so at the end of the visit nothing to be desired.

Great atmosphere and nice decor. Breakfast is available most of the day and is really tasty! Price-performance ratio is ok. Sustainability is very important here, which is still very unique. The coffee is okay, but unfortunately it does not use its full potential. Definitely worth a visit again!

Really nice place, fantastic food and great service. Was there for dinner, came back the next morning to try the breakfast which was just as good!

There are very few restaurants that can get everything thing right, but I would say this is one of them. The environment is wonderful, eclectic but high end and extremely reasonable prices for the quality. Service is excellent! They made the sauce to my dish vegan just for me. They have meat and vegetarian options and always fresh ingredients. The food was super delicious! Its the best restaurant we have eaten at in Germany!

Because you can only pay cash half star minus so 4.5 stars. After watching the months-long revamping of the neighborhood vegetable shop, the first thing I noticed was the floor to ceiling windows spanning the entire width of the restaurant, giving it depth and light. You'll notice hipster trendy decorations, beautiful wooden tables, hanging lamps, even a motorcycle as deco. We 6 sat at a table for 6; chairs too wide to easily get up from the table, but comfortable enough. Table setting - cool cloth napkins, neat cutlery, excellent place settings, ne glass for wine one for and water, and kind wait staff. Menu is tiny, which means the cooks can focus on quality and presentation. 5 stars! All in all we had bread to dip in olive oil with sea salt (heavenly!), tomato soup, spinach in "Blätterteig", Sekt, red wine, and desserts. The cinnamon bun and vanilla sauce were tasty, but unusually non-sweet and the white chocolate in the other dessert had little flavor having also no sweetness, and feeling as if it had been pulverized and sprinkled on the toffee. It melted in your mouth, but had little flavor. It was a little too experimental for us. They raspberry sorbet was perfect. There's a comfy corner area with sofas for families with prams, some toys, books, a drawing easel. Great place for SAHM/D and kids to meet others for coffee during the day. I couldn't figure out how to run the tap for the sink by the bathroom, so couldn't rinse off the soap - ew, I know! 😁
